Ark. Medicaid expansion plan would pay doctors higher rates

An Arkansas plan to expand its Medicaid program by subsidizing coverage for participants on the state's health insurance exchange could lead to higher pay for physicians, according to Arkansas Medicaid Director Andrew Allison. He says the plan would mean physicians get paid under commercial insurance schedules, not under the Medicaid schedule.
