British manufacturers bring production home to the U.K.

A growing number of British manufacturers, such as Top Shop and Mulberry, are reshoring their production in a bid to slash costs and reduce lead time, according to this report. This threatens China's position as the "holy grail" of low-cost manufacturing, especially as labor costs in the country continue to increase. Aside from the British companies, U.S. manufacturers are also returning home as part of a growing trend to support locally manufactured goods and products.
