College students inherit helicopter from sheriff's office

Budget cuts eliminated helicopter funding for the sheriff's office in Lane County, Ore. However, the sheriff's office and Lane Community College came to an agreement. Aviation students could use the helicopter for educational purposes if students took care of the helicopter in a hangar provided by the school.
