Ga. high-school teacher heads to China for immersion trip

Barbara Brayford, a history and economics teacher at Georgia's Dalton High School, is one of a dozen teachers traveling to China for an immersion program. In China, she'll study Chinese language, culture and economics and prepare multimedia lesson plans to share with her students and other schools. "When you can tell students real stories and show them pictures and say, 'I've been to this place,' they remember that," Brayford said.
