IFRS questioned by U.K. accounting regulator

After a demand by a group of investors for British authorities to investigate whether the International Financial Reporting Standards violated U.K. law, the Financial Reporting Council has ordered a review of the international standards, which have been in place in the U.K. since 2005. The investors alleged that IFRS has substantial legal flaws and allowed banks to hide bad loans.
