More U.S. youths are injured by falling TVs

A report published in the journal Pediatrics showed a 126% increase in the number of youths aged 18 and younger who were treated in emergency departments for TV-related injuries, from 5,455 in 1990 to 12,300 in 2011. Children younger than age 5 and boys accounted for 64% and 61% of such injuries, respectively.
