"Pathway to citizenship" depends on the House, says Boehner

House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, said the fate of a citizenship path for immigrants who entered the country illegally depends on House lawmakers, rather than Senate legislation or Boehner's personal views on the issue. The Senate bill is not expected to pass in the House, which should be allowed to "work its will" on immigration overhaul, he added. "We want to deal with this in chunks, chunks that the members can deal with and grapple with, and frankly chunks that the American people can get their arms around," he said.
