Private groups spread the word about ACA exchanges in Texas

Texas officials have declined to publicize the state's health insurance marketplace, which will be federally run, and private groups have stepped in to inform residents about coverage options. In addition to efforts by the Texas Organizing Project and Enroll America, some churches and museums will distribute literature about obtaining insurance. HHS has awarded about $9.9 million in grants to health centers to raise awareness and will fund at least two navigators to promote the exchange.
