Wyo. sees steady growth in oil production

Oil production in Wyoming rose slowly and steadily in the first half of the year amid the growth in drilling rigs, number of wells drilled per rig and oil and natural gas jobs. Meanwhile, the Energy Information Administration projects that overall output from wells in the Niobrara formation, which covers part of the state, will rise by 7,000 barrels of oil per day next month.
