Blind teen counselor helps other sightless youth at tech camp

Mario Bonds, a teen who lost his vision after an unsuccessful operation at the age of 8, is working this summer at a Washington, D.C., based technology camp for sight-impaired middle and high school students. The former rebel-turned-honor-student helps campers assemble computers, use Braille GPS devices for navigation and take field trips to meet successful blind professionals.
