Online summer classes a new option for struggling students

Claire Meerschaert, who has attention-deficit disorder, had trouble passing sophomore English, but she's retaking the class online this summer. Her mom Carol Meerschaert said: "She's smart, but her grades weren't showing it. Now, if she needs to re-read something or come back to it when she's ready, she can. And she's getting better grades."
