As tuition skyrockets at many four-year colleges, families increasingly are eying community colleges as a more affordable option, and nearly half of all undergraduates are now enrolled in two-year colleges. According to this article, enrollments at two-year schools have been increasing at a faster clip over the last 10 years versus those at four-year schools.
