Physicians urge treatment for pre-diabetes

The American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists has released new recommendations to improve diagnosis and treatment of pre-diabetes, including advocating lifestyle changes as a first line of treatment. The group also recommends that medical providers address cardiovascular problems such as blood pressure during diagnosis.
