Study: Worm infections may fuel HIV/AIDS

Parasitic worm infections may increase an individual's susceptibility to the HIV/AIDS virus, according to a study published Tuesday. Researchers found test subjects with worm infections, which affect 200 million people around the world, contracted the disease after exposure to far lower levels of the virus than non worm-infected subjects.
