CT offers little help in pediatric lung disease

CT scans for pediatric patients with acquired diffuse and focal pulmonary disease don't provide much new data or result in treatment plan changes, a study in Pediatrics found. The scientists said the minimal value of the CT scan must be weighed against the potential harm from exposing children to radiation.
