Incident at California dam prompts investigation

Investigators are trying to determine what caused a steel wall inside the nation's tallest dam to blow out on Wednesday. Officials suspended water flow and hydroelectric production at Oroville Dam in California for three hours after the incident, and they noted that the dam was never at risk. "This is not a dam-safety issue by any means," said Carl Torgersen, California Department of Water Resources' chief of operations and maintenance.
