New Orleans school officials question new "career track" diploma

New Orleans school board members are hoping to avoid offering a new "career track" diploma in the coming school year and have requested a waiver from the state. The new diploma would be offered for students who do not intend to go to college, but some New Orleans officials say the requirement encourages mediocre standards and does a disservice to students.
