In a conference call with reporters on Thursday, NFIB tax counsel Bill Rys and lobbyist Michelle Dimarob raised concerns about the health care reform bill as proposed by the House. The employer-provided insurance mandate will limit jobs, the notion of "adequate coverage" is too vague and the insurance-exchange program needs to be expanded to include larger small businesses, they said. NFIB supports reform that will improve the status quo, says Dimarob. "This bill is going to make it worse than the status quo," she added.
