Fishy diet appears to cut health risks in men

A study of 3,500 Korean adults, 40 to 69, found that men who ate fish daily reduced risk factors for diabetes, heart disease and stroke, though the same benefit was not seen in women. Compared to men who ate fish once a week or less, the daily fish-eaters were 57% less likely to develop metabolic syndrome, a collection of risk factors including abdominal obesity, high blood pressure and cholesterol problems.
