Gifted program has students exploring the theme of change

Change is the theme of study this year at a summer camp for gifted students in kindergarten through 10th grade at Hardin-Simmons University in Texas. Students in fourth and fifth grade are studying changes in cities from decade to decade, while younger students are studying changes in the ocean related to the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. The camp also provides a training opportunity for teachers earning advanced degrees in working with gifted students.
