As a civil trial gets underway for Fabrice Tourre, who is accused of defrauding investors, it is an "odd fate" for him to become a symbol of Wall Street greed, according to The Economist. "The list of individuals brought to trial for their part in the financial crisis is short," the magazine says. "The list of big shots is non-existent." Tourre had been a midlevel employee at Goldman Sachs.
