Bumblebee species re-emerges in Wash. state

A species of bumblebee that had virtually disappeared from the Pacific Northwest was recently spotted in Washington state. "It gives us hope that we can do some conservation work, and perhaps the species has a chance at repopulating its range," said biologist Rich Hatfield of the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation.
