CSB subpoenas of Gulf spill documents may proceed, court rules

The Chemical Safety Board's subpoenas of additional Transocean documents related to the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill will move ahead, a federal appeals court ruled. The company requested a stay of enforcement while it appeals a ruling concerning the subpoenas. Transocean "failed to justify making the government and the public wait any longer" for the CSB's report on the incident, the court said.
