A small number of US malls are transitioning from traditional shopping centers into health- and wellness-focused centers, trading in conventional shops and quickservice restaurants for gyms, yoga boutiques and vegan restaurants. Tysons Corner Centre in Virginia may be the most advanced example -- the mall now boasts a running shoe shop, upscale grocery store, sporting goods store and even a medical spa.
