House bill would cover Medicare end-of-life consults

Rep. Earl Blumenauer, D-Ore., again introduced a bill to require Medicare to cover consultations between patients and physicians about end-of-life care. If anything, the measure does not go far enough, and it should require Medicare beneficiaries' end-of-life care preferences be spelled out, Ezra Klein writes.
