Americans will pay more for dairy products, including milk and cheese, if the Dairy Market Stabilization Program moves forward in Congress, warns Jerry Slominski, senior vice president for legislative affairs for the International Dairy Foods Association, in a letter to the editor. The issue will go to conference and Slominski wrote that he hopes "the Senate will accede to the House's position." The House rejected the dairy stabilization program when it approved an amendment from Rep. Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., and Rep. David Scott, D-Ga.
