Lidl might mimic ALDI strategy in U.S., expert says

Europe's Schwarz Group is seeking to expand discount grocer Lidl to the U.S. and might look to copy the growth model of Germany's ALDI, Planet Retail Research Director Matthias Queck says. Queck expects Schwarz to expand beyond the saturated European market by entering the underdeveloped U.S. market by early 2015.
