LinkedIn's sponsored updates become available to all

LinkedIn has officially launched its sponsored update program that it began testing in January. The program allows companies to pay for updates to appear in the feeds of users who don't already follow their company page, with options to target specific audience segments. Companies including Allstate, General Electric, Nissan and Charles Schwab are already on board.
