N.C. district considers raising costs of a la carte items

Following a financial review of its foodservice program, officials in Camden County, N.C., are considering raising the price of a la carte items. The review showed that, while the district receives a reimbursement from entrees, it loses money on supplemental items. Financial consultants recommended increasing the price of such items and making entrees a better value for students.
