New "Haswell" processors draw 4.5 watts, boosting battery life for tablets, Intel says

The forthcoming fourth-generation Core Y processors with the "Haswell" micro-architecture are specified to run on 4.5 watts of power, according to Intel. The new chips are expected to extend the battery life of tablet computers, laptops and hybrid PCs.
