NextGen is falling short of goals, DOD inspector general says

The Federal Aviation Administration is not achieving its NextGen goals due to "several underlying programmatic and organizational weaknesses," according to the inspector general for the Department of Transportation. NextGen was launched 10 years ago to modernize the air-traffic control system.
