Survey examines doctors' views on how HIT affects care delivery

A small majority of about 300 practicing doctors in the U.S. say health IT can help promote evidence-based medicine as well as enhance patient care and safety, according to a survey from Wolters Kluwer Health. However, the survey also revealed that 56% of respondents said EHRs are not easy to use, while 61% of them found EHRs fail to enhance patient relationships.
