SynapDx wins funds to advance development of autism test

A funding round headed by Google Ventures has pulled in $15.4 million for SynapDx. The Lexington, Mass.-based startup, which specializes in pediatric genomics, will use the money to further develop its blood-based assay for the early detection of autism spectrum disorder in children.
