Tinder programming flaw leaks user location information

Mobile dating application Tinder sent out its users' location information via data files sent to others' phones for a few hours last weekend. The location information didn't appear in the application, but it was accessible through a hack along with users' Facebook IDs. "We had a very, very, very brief security flaw that we patched up very quickly. We were not exposing any information that can harm any of our users or put our users in jeopardy," Tinder CEO Sean Rad said.
