Tricare removes active-duty families from new autism coverage policy

Tricare has changed its earlier decision concerning a new policy that would limit coverage for autism therapy and now says the policy will not apply to active-duty military families. The policy, which imposes limits on how long patients with autism can receive applied behavior analysis services, will still apply to military retirees. The new rule goes into effect Thursday.
