Sainsbury's to power a store solely with its own trash

A Sainsbury's store in England will be the first worldwide to start shipping its food waste daily to a facility that will convert the trash into the electricity needed to power the store. Once the operation is up and running, the retailer will disconnect the store from the national power grid.
