Teachers poll: Technology more integral to teaching process

In its fourth annual survey of public K-12 teachers, hardware tools reseller CDW-G found that 54% of teachers believe technology has transformed the teaching environment, while 79% say they are "competent" or "highly competent" in using instructional software. At least 19% of respondents, however, reported they had not had any professional development in the use of technology over the past year.
