Kahala-Cold Stone closes two Cereality stores, looks to franchising

Kahala-Cold Stone, which recently acquired the Cereality Cereal Bar & Cafe chain, has shuttered two locations, one in Evanston, Ill., and one in Chicago. The company plans to transition from company-owned to franchise units, and a company executive expressed confidence in the Chicago market and in the chain's potential in other U.S. cities.
