Coalition: Managed care for Medicaid could close Mass. funding gap

Business and insurance groups say Massachusetts should reduce health care costs by requiring Medicaid patients to join managed care plans rather than charge providers, insurers and businesses more to fund the state's mandatory health insurance law. The coalition says the managed care plan approach could save the state $160 million this fiscal year.
