Pernod looks to organic growth

The shopping spree is over for French spirits marketer Pernod Ricard. On the heels of its €5.6 acquisition of Sweden's Vin & Sprit -- which owns iconic vodka brand Absolut -- the company announced plans to focus on its current roster of brands. It also plans to slow the introduction of new Absolut flavors and focus marketing on the core product.
