BofA: Less than half of maturing CMBS debt gets refinanced

An analysis by Bank of America-Merrill Lynch found that about 60% of the loans linked to CMBS issues are unable to be refinanced when they reach maturity. The data demonstrated a strong "trend to higher maturity defaults," the bank said.
