Kobo, WSJ will no longer sell directly through iOS apps

E-book seller Kobo and The Wall Street Journal have separately ended their practices of selling applications containing their content directly to consumers via Apple devices, moves that indicate Apple intends to enforce new rules governing sales of third-party digital media. Kobo said those who want to buy from the company will have to do so via a link to its site from Apple's Safari browser.
