Toro introduces battery-powered mower for golf courses

Toro has unveiled a new electric lawn mower designed to help maintain the pristine grass contours of golf courses. The new machine runs on lithium ion batteries that can provide sufficient power to trim up to 45,000 square feet of grass without recharging. The company plans to begin the production of the new mower at its factory in Tomah, Wis.
