Airbus promotes A380 as a high-density jet

Airbus is trying to reposition its A380 to it meets the functional needs of carriers instead of being seen only as a luxury jet. "We’re working to optimize the aircraft, and that means giving airlines some ideas to move the capacity up," said Keith Stonestreet, marketing director for the superjumbo jet. He said the jet manufacturer is offering extra seats per row and more dense layouts to decrease costs and boost margins.
