Aussies can stay visa-free for 3 days in Guangzhou

Beginning next month, Guangzhou will offer Australian travelers visa-free stopovers. Travelers can take advantage of a visa-free visit for 72 hours so long as they depart to another international location at the end of that duration. "Australians may not be able to pronounce Guangzhou or even Guangdong straight away, but just 24 hours among the amazing can-do Cantonese people will help visitors to see why Guangzhou is China’s next ‘in’ destination," said Henry He, China Southern's manager for Australia and New Zealand.
