Customers become designers at new footwear startup

A new footwear brand called Joker's Closet takes a collaborative approach to creating shoes. Following in the footsteps of brands including Nike, Ferragamo and Manolo Blahnik, the startup’s interactive website allows shoppers to customize their shoes. "While there are services that offer full customization this gives customers a free for all and gives no reason to come back each season,” writes Joker’s Closet founder Ashley Ebner.
