DOD grant aids Colorado STEM program

The northern Colorado Springs school district of D-20 has received a Pentagon grant that will help students gain practice using science, technology, engineering and math, particularly those students with family members in the military. The $2.5 million grant will stretch over three years and help pay for STEM training across the curriculum at the district, which serves a large proportion of children from military families.
