FDA OKs pattern-scanning laser from Topcon Medical

The FDA has cleared Topcon Medical Laser Systems to market Pascal Synthesis, a pattern-scanning laser device available in 577-nanometer and 532-nanometer wavelengths. The technology works with the company's Topcon D7 and Haag Streit slit lamps and could aid doctors in treating diabetic retinopathy and other retinal conditions.
