N.M. district's program helps students in special education stay on track

Hundreds of students with disabilities in Santa Fe Public Schools in New Mexico are attending a five-week Extended School Year program that includes one-on-one tutoring, therapy sessions and social activities. The program also offers high-school students a chance to earn needed credits. "Summer is long. We want to keep them learning at the same level or try to improve their skills," teacher Dee Ann Martinez said.
