Survey: NSA spying is affecting cloud hosting market

The ongoing controversy over data collection and sharing and spying programs by the National Security Agency is having a detrimental impact on the cloud hosting market, according to a Cloud Security Alliance survey. U.S.-based providers are seeing a 10% drop in contract work from companies outside the U.S., and 56% of non-U.S. businesses are wary of partnering with American service providers.
